The best part about the whole thing is that I was rewarded for what I love to do

The Spark of Inspiration
I can never forget the 2019 season of East Africa’s Got Talent. I was only in Primary Six then, but I remember it as if it were yesterday. Encountering talents like Jehovah Shalom, Esther, and Ezekiel—who have since graced stages like Canada’s Got Talent—inspired me deeply. It was through watching them that I discovered something life-changing: I could sing, too.
The Opportunity: Stage Dreams 2026
At the end of the second term in 2025, amidst the pressure of MOCK exams, a friend told me about Stage Dreams. It was a massive talent exhibition competition where over three hundred students from various schools participated.
With the guidance and assistance of Mr. Mawejje J. Paul, I submitted my video entry. Then, we waited.
The Moment of Triumph
The news finally reached us on Wednesday, 11th March 2026: the managers of Stage Dreams were coming to school to reward the top performers.
On Thursday, 12th March, we gathered in the Main Hall. The atmosphere was electric. As they read out the top ten winners, I was amazed to find that eight of the ten were from our school!.
Then came the final announcement:
“And the award for Best Video Entry goes to… Bwire Paul!”
The crowd went wild as I was rewarded with a speaker and a certificate. I was stunned. It taught me that dreams really do come true when you pursue what you love.
