May Hope Fill Our Days.

A Jubilee Message from the Chaplain

This Jubilee year coincides with the 60th anniversary of the Ugandan Martyrs’ canonization. School Chaplain Fr. Stephen T. Kiggundu shares a message of ‘Renewal’ and ‘Mercy’ for the St. Lucia family.

Aspects of our Jubilee

Rejoicing & Pilgrimage: Focusing on Eucharistic Adoration, planting fruit trees, and the value of silence and effort as “Pilgrims of Hope”.

Renewal for Youth: A call for young people to reject the “false comfort” of drugs and instead embrace a bright future.

Acts of Mercy: Outlining plans for S5 students to engage in community penitential services and show affection to the sick and the poor.

How can we, as a school family, better serve the sick and the poor in Namgoma this term?

In this Jubilee year, let us embrace the call to be ‘Pilgrims of Hope’. By choosing renewal over false comforts and mercy over indifference, we ensure that our students have a bright future ahead of them. We encourage you to join our S5 students in their upcoming community service projects as we turn our faith into action.

Hope never disappoints.
