The booming Media Club has caused a great stir and brought amazing energy to St. Lucia Hill School. Known broadly as the club of anchors, it has helped make St. Lucia a gigantic beacon of talent, producing great future journalists and news stars. Many have come to depend on this vibrant club, which does not only focus on broadcasting but also thrives on mentoring great leaders and public speakers.
Nurturing Great Speakers
Many students have tasted the fruits of the club after joining. A shining example is Abitegeka Moses, a popular and down-to-earth student who has transformed into a great speaker and presenter. He has become a guiding light for everyone, serving as an inspiration across the campus. Even the Headteacher can witness some of his tremendous, powerful, and captivating speeches delivered from the podium of St. Lucia.
Building Confidence and Reaching the Screen
The Media Club has brought immense positive changes and had a profound impact on many of us, including the writers of this piece. It has truly embarked on a mission to build deep confidence among the “Lucian” students.
Under the leadership of our current chairperson, Mr. Ssekyewa Stuart, the club highly prioritizes the needs and growth of its members, propelling them into deep commitment and transforming them into true entertainers. Thanks to this dedication, club enthusiasts have gone ahead to represent St. Lucia Hill School on popular national television channels, including NBS, Magic 1, and Spark TV.
A Campus Favorite
In conclusion, the Media Club is estimated to be loved and celebrated by over 95% of the school community and the surrounding neighborhood. We really appreciate its existence on our campus.
Long live the St. Lucia Media Club!
